TimFlix (Plex)
TimFlix is a suite if media libraries running on a self-hosted Plex Media Server.
These libraries are available to anyone that has a Plex account and has been invited or approved to access my server.
A Plex account can be obtained for free from Plex
Once approved for access, my libraries will appear on any Plex client (Web browser, android, IOS, Roku, Amazon Firestick, Apple TV, and various Smart TVs) on which you have signed in using your Plex account.
You may have to 'pin' the new libraries to make them visible all the time on whatever Plex client you are using. This is done from the Plex menu.
My libraries will show up in addition to whatever Plex libraries you may currently have. My libraries will have 'TimFlix' as part of the library name so you will know which libraries are mine. For example, TimFlix - Movies
Currently the libraries include the following:
- TimFlix -TV Shows - Active
- This library consists of TV series that are currently running on a network or streaming service or otherwise have not been cancelled.
- TimFlix - TV Shows - Ended
- This library consists of ended or cancelled TV series. Cancelled TV Shows whose first season aired after 2000 are listed here along with various collections.
- Some shows are set in collections to make it easier to browse. Collections within this library are:
- British TV which consists of TV series that aired in Great Britain, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
- Classic TV which consists of TV series whose first episode aired prior to 2000.
- TV Specials & Mini Series are TV shows that aired as special televised events or limited run series.
- Cartoon TV is a collection of animated TV shows that originally aired during the heyday of Saturday morning cartoon TV.
- Star Trek TV is a collection of ended Star Trek television shows.
- This library consists of ended or cancelled TV series. Cancelled TV Shows whose first season aired after 2000 are listed here along with various collections.
- TimFlix - Movies - Requests are recently added movies and movies that were requested.
- TimFlix - Movies is the main movie library for TimFlix. This library also has various collections for ease of browsing, such as Disaster movie and Documentaries collections to name a few.
- TimFlix - Sports
- This library contains Sports content and documentaries. Currently, this consists of Rugby and Formula 1 content.
- TimFlix - Music contains various music genres by artist, album and collections. Playlists can be made from this music.
- TimFlix - Music Videos
- Currently consists of a limited set of music videos.
- TimFlix - Unidentified Aerial Phenomena
- A special library for those interested in the topic of UFOs/UAPs.
- It consists of several sections including military & NASA videos, Raw footage of credible UFOs, UFO documentaries and UFOs in the News.
